MD, OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT
This department involves arranging for all the security permissions required, booking of venues, making a database of all tech vendors, event managers, WIFI providers, walkies vendors and maintaining good relations with them. Pitch them on barter basis and most importantly handling all the technological and structural arrangement on-days.
This department is concerned with making a list of all sectors from where potential sponsorship can be raised, segregating the list, developing effective relations with the marketing personnel of companies in these sectors and ultimately pitching them for sponsorship for Insight. All the business/non-business Sectors other than cafeteria and food are to be included in marketing scope of work.
- HOSPITALITY AND CAFÉ
This department is very much similar to Marketing as far as its working is concerned. A list of all eatery sectors need to be made from where potential sponsorship can be raised. Hospitality entails arranging barter deals for travel, tourism, and accommodation sectors.
Department that involves sourcing and arranging for all the printing & stationery requirements of all departments of Insight, developing and maintain relations with vendors, negotiating barter deals for bulk printing & stationery orders, maintaining credit accounts with vendors, periodic audits of credit accounts, and co-ordinating with other departments for requirements.
- HUMAN RELATIONS (HR)
This department is concerned with devising strategies to generate co-operation and co-ordination at inter-departmental level, developing group cohesiveness, handling conflicts, motivating people to work harder, handling feedback mechanisms, bringing out changes in the work culture according to feedback, maintaining attendance of whole team, organizing Saturday games for members and most importantly taking care of needs of all members. Involves organizing training and workshops for workforce of Insight to ensure overall development.
MD, RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT
- BROADCASTING AND OUTREACH
This department will be responsible for creating a buzz of Insight, as a whole, through various campaigns, videos, social media platforms and blogs. Involves shooting videos of various happenings in the fest, as well as outside the fest, but involving it. It also involves getting on board outreach partners to increase the crowd pulling capability of Insight.
- PUBLIC RELATIONS
Department deals with creating a database of all the colleges in India (and outside India), contacting them, developing and maintaining relations with Contingent Leaders of different colleges and conducting the IP process.
Department responsible for ensuring involvement through conduct of various activities for the stakeholders of the Insight such as faculty, non teaching staff and alumni. Also, the department which will reflect the social side of Insight, by interacting and providing valuable services to socially and economically backward areas. Kartavya, a social initiative of Insight, will undertake various small term social projects as well one long term project, to help the poor and needy people in the vicinities of Mumbai. It will also look forward to partnering with various NGOs for effective development of the society as a whole.
This department gives life to Insight. From ideating the visual quality of the fest, to creating the beautiful decor stuff, this department does it all. It involves brainstorming ideas for decor, creating decorative items, beautifying college corridors and insight venues, coordinating with logistics for materials requirement.
- DIGITAL ARTS
It involves creating advertisements, brochures, pamphlets, videos, magazine, certificates, designs, and generating ideas. Mandatory knowledge of Corel Draw, Photoshop and other editing software is required.
- CORPORATE RELATIONS
Corporate Relations is responsible for creating a database of personalities, forming the business advisory board of Insight, contacting potential invitees for Insight’s Flagship business conclave, arranging judges for all the events of Insight, maintaining strong relations with Advisory Board and references, conduct a networking session on-days and invite all the dignitaries for the same, and most importantly help marketing department by giving them direct contacts of marketing personnel of companies.
MD, RESEARCH AND INNOVATION
- CORPORATE EVENTS
Corporate events responsibilities would include ideating, conceptualizing, in-depth study, forming parameters, rounds formation, content development, case development, developing judgment criteria, and on days’ execution of events relating to Corporate working, Business processes, Startups, trade & commerce, etc.
- FINANCIAL MARKET EVENTS
Financial market events responsibilities would include ideating, conceptualizing, in-depth study, forming parameters, rounds formation, content development, case development, developing judgment criteria, and on days execution of events relating to Stock markets, Financial markets, Merchant banking, Risk management, Derivatives markets, Portfolio management, wealth management, etc.
- ECONOMIC EVENTS
Economic events responsibilities would include ideating, conceptualizing, in-depth study, forming parameters, rounds formation, content development, case development, developing judgment criteria, and on days execution of events relating to Indian and Global economics, monetary policies, money supply, international trade & commerce, Economic events, cross-border financing, etc.
- DEBATES AND SUMMITS
Debates and Summits responsibilities would include ideating, conceptualizing, in-depth study, forming parameters, rounds formation, content development, case development, developing judgment criteria, and on days execution of events like MUN, G-20 Summit, Parliamentary debate, Economic Summit, etc.
Informals, a new department with an old concept, will organize fun events, insight carnival, on-days fillers, and also competitive events with a fun element. Requires innovation, creativity and uniqueness.
